JIMMI has integrated itself with all of the relevant technical and regulatory platforms in New Zealand which include:
  • the electricity central installation control point (ICP) Registry via web-services 
  • the futures market traded on the Australian Stock Exchange.
​...and which has meant that a forward price curve can be easily formed.

Any organisation with an electronic relationship with a wide number of customers will be able to use JIMMI to drive electricity and similar product sales to their customers, without having to become an industry specialist. This can be bundled with existing offerings, yet it will be personalised to each customer.

JIMMI provides an opportunity to leverage off the already strong relationships with customers, as well as exploiting the network effects offered by the internet.

JIMMI delivers the pricing tool in the .NET framework on a SQL Server database and is built using .NET MVC.

​Both the Utilise Pricing Tool and the Selectric Price Comparison Tool are hosted on Microsoft Azure and share the same database structure.​

Why we are different

Unique approach
Its proprietary technology can be used to establish retail prices, and manage offers and demand-side response within a simple contract structure. JIMMI uses patented technology (New Zealand Patents Nos. 523759 and 528467, Australian patent No. 2001267953, US patent No. 7,949,555).

Its features include an ability to draw data from network and registry databases, automation through self-service, reducing the total costs of service, and increasing customer satisfaction.

The online self-service pricing tool can be deployed in the following ways:
  • through Utilise;
  • through third party sites;
  • direct.

It can also be deployed under different supply models:
  • referral;
  • reseller;
  • principal.

Can it get more complicated? Not now. We deal with that for you. Customers don't need to know everything about their electricity supply, we do that for them (someone has got to do the exciting stuff!), allowing them to be on set and forget. We do this digitally for cost reduction and convenience.
