JIMMI's technology can be used for a range of applications because of its few simple principles:
  • It's web-based to enable ease of use by distributed users and connectivity to data
  • It caters to multiple suppliers and multiple channels
  • It uses pricing algorithms that are scalable and conform with industry practice.

What's out there?

Price finder
We have the ability to scan the market and find standard rate-card offers available to your unique circumstance. These are standard offers capable of acceptance, subject to usual criteria.

To the common rate-finder we can add information specific to a customer's circumstances. We do this through our connections to the key databases in the utility supply industry.

The initial Selectric product focused on electricity. It was deployed on the Opunake Hydro website where it was able to win customers by demonstrating the benefits of supply from Opunake Hydro.

What's best for you?

Just for you
We evolved from Selectric to develop an ICP-specific pricing tool inside Utilise Limited. This tool has helped Utilise establish itself in the business market where customer-specific profiles are coming within reach through metering technology. It is deployed across the business and enables the complexity of electricity pricing to be accessible to staff in a simple way.

Since its deployment with Utilise in 2014, it has priced over 12,000 individual connections, helping Utilise win over 1,000 business customers. It has established robust prices within minutes, allowing the pricing function to be deployed by sales staff and customer service, putting gross margin decisions into the hands of the sales team.

Network price discovery

Dispel myths
Most electricity prices in New Zealand are bundled. Customers do not know what proportion of their price is for line charges and which is for energy.

The JIMMI pricing tool can show users what these charges are for their specific situation, using their ICP data and their load profile.

This helps avoid poor decisions by customers who are considering adopting new technology on the basis of reducing their bundled costs.

It also helps customers understand where price changes are occurring, in the energy or the lines charge components, and gives more power to customer choice.
